Tygerberg Nature Reserve temporarily closed
18 April 2023
The City of Cape Town
wants to inform residents and visitors that the Tygerberg Nature Reserve is
temporarily closed until further notice due to a water supply disruption.
The Tygerberg Nature Reserve has been experiencing intermittent water supply since Friday, 14 April 2023, due to a faulty pump supplying potable water to our reserve facilities.
A professional team from the City's Water and Sanitation Directorate is attending to the matter.
We thank the public for their patience and understanding. We will communicate once the water supply has been fully restored and the reserve is open again to visitors.
For general enquiries, kindly phone the Tygerberg Nature Reserve on 021 444 8971, or send an email to Tshepo.Mamabolo@capetown.gov.za.
